Part 6, Chapter 46 Summary

It is April 15th and Claire and Jamie arrive at Culloden House. They find old Alec there sleeping in the hay. He tells Jamie that they are starving and had to eat the horses. He asks if his men were fed. Alec tells him they were fed and that Donas, Jamie's horse, was spared. The king would ride Donas. The men are made to march toward the English on Drumossie, tired and hungry. Jamie says his men are being lead to slaughter and cries to Alec. He feels helpless. Claire tells him there is one way.
