Section 15:Chapter 27 & Chapter 28 Summary

In Chapter 27, Nest wishes she had done more to scare Larry away when she sees his cruiser in front of Gask's house. As she and Ross sneak towards the house, Pick joins them to report that the children are being kept in a playroom in the basement and are guarded by something that he could not see, so Nest asks Pick to go back downstairs with her to point out where the ur'doch is hiding. She believes Wraith will return to her if she needs his protection, but she is not sure. Ross gives Nest twenty minutes before he will attack the demons from the front of the house.
