Section 14: Chapter 25 & Chapter 26 Summary

In Chapter 25, Nest finds Bennett's window open and realizes Larry opened the window to give Gask access to the house because he is under Gask's sway. Ross knows that Gask will want to trade the children for the gypsy morph because he has not realized that Little John is the morph, and when Gask phones fifteen minutes later, he gives them until midnight to make the exchange. Nest and Ross plot on how to save the children since they do not have the morph which means they cannot accede to Gask's demands. Knowing something is wrong but not what, Gask sends the ur'doch to watch the children and make sure they do not try to escape.
