Section 5: Chapter 8 & Chapter 9 Summary

On Monday, December 22, in Chapter 8, Ross begins his search for the gypsy morph after waking from his dream about the Knight on the cross. Learning the morph will appear near Cannon Beach, Oregon, Ross travels to the town and obtains a job in a bookstore. After finding lodging, he is ready to search for the gypsy morph which he knows is in a cave hollowed by elements and time into the side of the bluffs running along the ocean. His search for the cave is unsuccessful until his landlady suggests he talk to Anson Robbington who has explored every inch of the coastline, and Ross knows immediately that this is the cave he has been searching for when Robbington leads him to it.
