Chapter 43 Summary

"A Gang of Lady Pirates"

Tully is concerned with what will happen to Mr. Twain if he leaves. He dreams that he discovers a machine that will shrink Mr. Twain to the size of a dog, but alas, this isn't to be. He even considers sending the horse to Donna Kay and Clark Gable, but fate steps in and solves the problem.

A horse, which they name Ocean, is found swimming in the channel; she may have fallen overboard from a ship, but her origins are unknown. Mr. Twain takes a liking to her and they share the corral. Tully thinks the horse was sent by Cleopatra to help Tully move on.

Tully goes up to the tower of the lighthouse with Ix-Nay for a last goodbye. Afterward he fishes at a spot that he and Diver only knew about and then he...
