Chapter 30 Summary

"A Cowboy Float"

Dawn and Noel-Christmas go to change before the foam party and Tully wanders around feeling the effects of pot and campaign. The girls return and Tully tells Dawn she looks like Barbarella; Dawn doesn't know who that is.

Warren Zevon's Lawyers, Guns and Money" is playing as they enter the party. Four men dressed as FBI agents enter holding hoses. They unleash the foam from the hoses and the party ensues. After the party, Dawn and Tully leave together.

Chapter 30 Analysis

Chapter 30 is more of a prologue for Tully's big set-up. At the foam party, the four men dressed as FBI agents become symbolic of Tully's impending capture.
