Haiku.

Write a haiku which you think summarizes the book.

Bin Game.

Divide into pairs. One member of the pair should answer questions and the other is the bin thrower. The idea is that the teacher asks a question about the book and the person who gets it right gives their teammate three chances to throw a ball in the bin. For every ball he gets in he scores 2 points. The winner is the pair with the most points.

Word Game.

With a partner, say a word or name that relates to the book and see how many words that you can associate with that word. The first person to pause loses the game. When you have finished one word, start another one.

Newspaper Campaign.

Divide into two groups; anti salt and pro salt. The anti salt group has to develop a newspaper campaign to turn the public...
