Jacob and Billy make an entrance into the Swan home. Bella admits to Jacob that she is seeing Edward, and she is worried that Jacob will say something or that Billy will say something to Charlie. It is nerve-wracking. After they leave, Charlie encourages Bella to invite Mike to the dance, but Bella doesn't want to.
