Section XII, ch. 33-36 Summary

Anita wakes to Richard and Jean-Claude arguing about making her Jean-Claude's human servant. Richard wants Jean-Claude to mark Anita because he is afraid she is dying, but Jean-Claude refuses. Anita agrees with Jean-Claude, threatening to kill him if he ever forces himself on her again. Jean-Claude is partially afraid that Anita would be the master if he marked her. Richard wants the first mark since Jean-Claude cannot come to the lupanar. Richard will kill Marcus tonight if Marcus does not back down. Edward arrives, but his backup is being guarded.
