Chapter 9, The Long Month Summary

Jane begins to plot to show the truth behind the beef industry in her next episode for My American Wife! Jane contacts Dyann and asks her to help her find out more truths about the beef industry. Dyann sends Jane some articles she wrote on the use of pharmaceuticals in feedlots. Jane then picks two new families, one in which the husband works in a meat processing plant and another where the husband owns a feedlot. Jane sends information on these families to Ueno, emphasizing the family over their occupations to hide her true intentions.

Akiko writes a note to Jane asking for her help in learning where she might go if she were to search for the happiness Dyann talked about in her episode of My American Wife! Akiko goes to a neighborhood copy store to have the letter faxed...
