Melora (Lore) Perseous

Melora, or Lore for short, is one of the main characters and the third-person narrator of the novel. She is the last living member of the Perseus household after her parents and siblings were killed just after the previous Agon. Lore is led to believe that Aristos is the one who killed her family, but later learns it was Athena. Lore’s closest companion is Castor who she was friends with seven years prior to the opening of the novel. Even though they were separated between the Agons, Lore and Castor still have deep feelings for each other, culminating in a relationship at the end of the novel. However, Lore is also close to Miles and eventually Van as they all work together to end the Agon.

Lore’s greatest character flaw is her temper. This is something she constantly struggles with throughout the novel. This...
