Chapter 33 "The Soul Without Quotation Marks" Summary

Charlotte leaves Adam's apartment that evening. He is so busy returning phone calls and emails that he barely has time to say goodbye. She is dreading going back to her room because she knows that she has to call her mother. Beverly and Erica are both there when she gets back to her room and Beverly tells her that the phone has been ringing nonstop. They ask her if she has read the story in the Wave and she tells them that she hasn't. She sits down and starts reading some material for a class and they finally leave the room. Charlotte picks up the phone and calls home. They engage in small talk for a minute and then Charlotte tells her mother her grades and says the reason is because she got a boyfriend...
