Chapter 14 "Millennial Mutants" Summary

Charlotte is sitting in Mr. Sterling's class. The discussion is about Darwin and evolution. She is amazed to be a freshman in an advanced level course taught by a Nobel Prize winner. She answers a question and is validated by the professor. As Charlotte is leaving the class he asks her if she has actually read The Origin of the Species. He encourages her to keep using the primary sources. She leaves the class ecstatic that he has singled her out.

Walking back from class she comes across Adam and his friends, the Millennial Mutants. Adam and Greg are debating the governor story and Greg is still not convinced that it is current news. Adam feels that Greg is just too scared to run such a story. Adam sees Charlotte, calls her.....
