Chapter 11 "Onstage, A Star" Summary

Charlotte wakes up thinking about the frat party. She can't believe that she behaved the way she did. She lets herself believe that Hoyt was simply saving her from social oblivion. When she gets back to her room, Beverly is up and asking her about the party last night. Beverly knows that she was with Hoyt Thorpe. Beverly tells her the story of what happened in the Grove with Hoyt and the bodyguard and Charlotte realizes that this conversation is only the second time since the day they met that Beverly uses her name.

The dining hall stops serving breakfast at 9 am so Charlotte has to eat at Mr. Rayon. She finds a far away table and opens up her book. Bettina and Mimi find her and ask her about.....
