Chapter 13 Summary

While she is viewing the security tapes from the crime scene, Eve sees a sleek sports car pulling up to the security gate just minutes before the murder occurred. Zooming in on the driver, Eve sees that it is none other than David Angelini. Feeling like a cat about to pounce on a fat mouse, Eve brings Feeney up to date, and heads for the Angelini's city home. A neighborhood kid informs her that he saw David enter the home late the night before, and hasn't seen him leave again. When she knocks on the door and receives no answer, Eve shouts that she can come back with a warrant. Suddenly David answers, and Eve follows him back inside. Eve tells David his rights, and at first, he denies being there, and tries.....
