After looking considerably into Randall Slade's scandal on Sector 38 Feeney knows Eve isn't going to be pleased. There is no new information - Slade was charged with possession of illegal chemicals and soliciting an unlicensed companion, and cleared of the murder charge. Eve is furious to see that the whole thing occurred in one of Roarke's casinos, and storms out of her office to confront him.
Annoyed, Eve reluctantly meets with Nadine to bring her up to date. The two women discuss their theories on the case, and decide that the best course of action is for Nadine to keep a tight cover on the investigation.
