Chapter 4 Summary

Eve decides to meet Nadine Furst at the Blue Squirrel. The Blue Squirrel is only a notch above the Five Moons, but Eve finds herself enjoying the colorful atmosphere nonetheless. Eve allows herself to take in the other customers. When Mavis joins Eve at the table, she is a sight; and the two women strike up a conversation immediately, and it goes right to Roarke. Eve quickly quashes Mavis's enthusiasm by telling her that she is meeting Nadine. The two friends chat for a few moments, and Mavis is called back to the stage.

The next morning, Eve meets Feeney at Cicely's apartment. Feeney tells her that he can't tell her who Cicely met with that night because all of her.....
