Nest Freemark

Nest Freemark is one of the protagonists in "Angel Fire East." She is a human who has been gifted with the ability to use magic, like many of her female ancestors, by the Word. Nest uses her magical abilities to help Pick tend Sinnissippi Park and maintain the balance of magic within the park. She is also the custodian of Wraith, a ghost wolf created from her demon father's magic to be her protector. Each time she crosses paths with John Ross, her life changes drastically, so Nest dreads the repercussions of his pending visit when she learns from Gask's threatening visit that Ross will soon come to Hopewell.

Findo Gask appears on Nest Freemark's doorstep in Hopewell, insisting that she does not aid Ross and the morph when they appear, and Nest angrily refuses to agree to any of Gask's demands. ...
