Chapter 6 Summary

"How Nightmares Turn into Dreams"

Through Bucky, Tully learns that part of the Lost Boys' history was Tex Sex. Some years prior, Tex abruptly retired from the music business at the height of his career. A country music sensation, he was born in Texas, but moved to Chicago when he was two months old. He drops out of high school, works at an arcade in Wisconsin and later starts delivering pizzas for Domino's. He wins a local karaoke contest and is discovered by Aaron Segal, a man who runs a funeral parlor and limousine service.

Since Tex was a dead ringer for Brad Pitt, it didn't matter that he couldn't really sing or play guitar; Aaron signs Tex. Eventually Tex meets Darcy Trumbo who starts to manage his career. She gets him singing and guitar.....
