Part 2, Witwatersrand: Chapters 7-9 Summary

After Duff leaves, Sean works relentlessly. He keeps away from Candy's hotel, and on Sundays he rides to Francois's tent. Duff returns with a convoy that strings itself out over four miles, most of the wagons double-teamed. Sean is nervous, but Duff thinks he will have it all up and running in a month.
