Bo's Kitchen
Bo spends almost all of his time in the kitchen. He likes the heat of the stove, and he also likes laying on the daybed in there with Sixten until Hans insists they replace the daybed with a hospital bed. It is here that he dies with Sixten by his side.
Bo's Woods
Bo lives near the woods most of his life, and he walks there frequently. Hans no longer wants Bo taking Sixten out there because he is worried that Bo will fall and will not be able to get to help.
Frederica's Memory Care Facility
Frederika no longer lives with Bo when the novel opens because she suffers from dementia and does not remember anyone. Bo and Hans visit her at her memory care facility where there are photos of their lives together.
Meadow
Bo goes to the meadow throughout his life when he needs...
