Summary
Bo thinks about how he prepared for his parents to come visit. Frederika felt comfortable at his home even though she still lived with her parents. He remembers how excited he was to leave home even though he knew he would miss his mother. He wonders if perhaps it was alcohol that made his father so angry. His father mentioned a gap in Bo’s door during his visit, something Bo had tried to fix before he came over. Bo was disappointed by this and had wished his father would ask him about his work, but he did not.
