Summary
Lila meets with Eleanor who tells her that she is just a person who has lost her way, but she also tells her that she ought not publish that chapter. Lila knows she will lose the book contract if she does. Instead of sex clubs, Eleanor has been getting massages from middle aged women and has been going to salsa clubs where she dances with older men who are only interested in dancing.
Lila has difficulty writing because she is so upset about Jensen, so she decides to clean the attic. She feels shame for what she has done. Bill joins her in the attic as they go through old things.
