Summary

Chapter 10 opens as Wallace uses happy memories of his time with Naomi and his own bisexuality to will himself into picking up a chair. He recalls their dates, how much they loved each other, and how easy it was for him to blame her for the divorce. The second time Wallace reaches for the chair, it shoots across the room and breaks. On day eight, Wallace finally steps out of the kitchen, much to Hugo and Nelson's delight. Meanwhile, Nancy continues to come back either consumed with anger or wracked with grief. Hugo always promises he will be there for her, but she never speaks to him.

Chapter 11 starts on the 13th day of Wallace's time at Charon Crossing as Nelson tries to teach Wallace how to change his clothes again. Hugo says Wallace will get the hang of it depending on how...
