Summary

Chapter 5 is from Cameron's perspective. He is looking at a group of nine little girls who are begging him to be in a video with them. He refuses outright and keeps reminding them to call him Coach Cam. A girl named Maria is particularly adamant. Chelsea is late, which is usual. She is just arriving from ballet practice and is still wearing a tutu. Cameron struggles to get control as the girls change the conversation to ballet then share ridiculous guesses about Cameron's age. Adalyn and Josephine Moore arrive. Everyone calls her Josie. She is the mayor of Green Oak. Adalyn says Cameron is fired.

Chapter 6 changes to Adalyn's perspective. Josie suggests Cameron return to his work as coach, leaving Adalyn free to have some cake. Josie's mother was involved with the team years earlier. Josie recently revived the team and recruited Cameron...
