Summary

In Chapter Three, Chloe said that she not only wanted to share her powers with El—she wanted to join her alliance with Liu and Aadhya. Although El did not want to join with an enclaver, she had to admit it was a good idea. As the month went on, El continued fighting monsters during all of her classes. One day, she saw Orion asking Magnus for more mana. El confronted him and asked why he needed mana since he generated so much by killing mals. Orion explained that he had not killed any mals since graduation because there had been no attacks, and he suspected the monsters were laying low.
