The Winchester House

The Winchester House is where Nina, Andrew, and Cecelia live. It is where Enzo serves as a landscaper and where Millie comes to work. The house is owned by Andrew, who throws Nina out after Andrew begins an affair with Millie. It is the primary location for the duration of the novel.

The Attic

The attic is where Millie is allowed to stay after moving in with the Winchesters. It is a small, desolate room with a cot and exposed lightbulbs. The door locks from the outside and the window does not open. The attic is where Andrew locks Nina up and tortures her for doing things that upset him. Similarly, it is where Andrew does the same to Millie until Millie turns the tables on Andrew and puts Andrew through similar torture. It is also the room where Andrew dies.
