Summary

In Chapter 25, Millie and Andrew go to a Broadway show. Millie gets a text reminding her to take out the trash. After the show, Millie and Andrew go to dinner. Millie thinks about how people must think they are a couple. During dinner, Andrew gets a call from Nina. Andrew takes the call, but he ends it abruptly.

In Chapter 26, Mille and Andrew talk about how nice their dinner was. Andrew suggests they stay at The Plaza because Andrew has had too much to drink. Andrew tells Millie that she looks beautiful, and they kiss.

In Chapter 27, Millie and Andrew have sex. Millie thinks about how “Andrew is married. I’m his maid” (140). Millie tells herself it will be a one-time incident. Andrew tells Millie that he wishes he had met Millie when he was younger.
