Summary

In Chapter 17, Fatespeaker and Starflight return to the dormitory. Fatespeaker says “Poor Squid” and assumes Morrowseer will bring Tsunami to the island in his place. Starflight hides under a blanket to use the dreamvisitor again. He winds up in Sunny's dream. She is playing with the others, each of them “bigger, kinder, warmer” than in real life. Sunny is surprised to find two Starflights and is clearly unable to understand the significance. He winds up in Clay's dream where Clay is eating all kinds of animals. Clay reveals he often dreams about Starflight “lecturing” him. Clay is distracted by the arrival of his MudWing nestmates. He eventually lands in Glory's dream and she quickly understands the significance. (Glory had a similar experience in the previous book when Queen Scarlet contacted her using a dreamvisitor.)
