Summary

Section 12. Harry runs to the hospital. He waits in the waiting room for word of how Janice is doing. Eccles comes in and assures Harry he will let Janice know he is there. Harry is nervous as he sits with Eccles in the waiting room. Mrs. Springer passes through the waiting room nodding at Eccles, but ignoring Harry. Mr. Springer says hello to Harry making Mrs. Springer tell him Janice is fine without him. Eccles and Mr. Springer move her quickly through the waiting room.

The doctor comes to congratulate Harry on the birth of his daughter. He asks if he may see Janice, but allows Mrs. Springer to see her before him. Janice is happy to see him. She is still woozy from the drugs they gave her for the labor. Harry asks her about Nelson and is informed he asks about him all...
