Chapters 1 through 6 Summary

In Chapter 1, Peter and the Starcatchers opens with a group of boys being taken to a ship by carriage. They left St. Norbert's Home for Wayward Boys the previous night, and have no idea where they are going, other than on a ship. When they finally reach the wharfs, Edward Grumpkin, the second in command at St. Norbert's, hands the boys over to Slank. He tells them that The Never Land will be their home for the next five weeks, if they're lucky.

Chapter 2 opens with Mack and Alf, two sailors from The Never Land, in a warehouse stealing a trunk. Two trunks were brought to this warehouse by soldiers, and Slank has ordered the two of them to wrap it in canvas so that it looks like any other trunk, and bring it to the ship.
