Part 2, Chapter 7 Summary

Colum calls for Claire to visit him in his office. Colum asks Claire if she is related to the Beatons. Mrs. Fitz had also asked this of Claire when she first arrived. She answers, "no." Colum asks Claire if she would take a look at the late Mr. Beaton's things, because he was a healer himself who, had once stayed at the castle, but died of a fever. Claire obliges and Colum led the way, clearly in pain as he made his way down the stairs. Claire mentions that a massage would help Colum's back. Colum is impressed, because he told her that Angus gave him a massage most evenings to help with the pain.

Claire peers around the old dusty room and finds a book, in which Mr. Beaton took notes of his patients and his prescribed medications. She notices...
