Summary

Chapter 4 is titled “Naomi's Revelation.” Naomi says she thought “only some people could draw,” until she realized that writing is a form of drawing (50). Naomi goes to the front of the group to demonstrate on a large pad of paper. She says they can all “draw” their names because of practice. She takes them through the process of drawing her werewolf character which includes a large “O” for the body, a sideways “D” for the mouth, and two upside-down “U's” for the teeth. Someone complains that hands are difficult but Naomi says she uses a “baby C” for each finger. She draws lots of tiny lines to create the fur. All the frogs have drawn along with Naomi.
