Summary

In Chapter 27, Lucas scours Paul Curry's neighborhood and home. They talk about Sansone's gang, which is different from the old Mafia gangs. Lucas decides that they should grab Curry. He realizes though, that they need to know if he will cooperate. Two missing dealers could put the lives of Virgil and Rae in jeopardy. They make a plan. Lucas pays attention to the timing based on Virgil's and Rae's activities. Curry goes to the grocery store, and they go to get him when he returns. Curry worries that Sansone will kill him and his family if he talks. Lucas says that Sansone will be in jail, but he will not. Then Lucas lets Orish know what happened. Three women who are part of the operation arrive.
