Holly

Holly is one of the heroes of the novel. She is friends with numerous characters including Detective Izzy, who calls Holly for help on her cases. Holly is a private detective for Finder’s Keepers. As the novel is underway, she is slightly involved with Izzy’s case trying to figure out who the Surrogate Jurors’ murderer is, but then she gets a call from Corrie who asks her to be a private detective for Kate since Kate only wants a female bodyguard who is not involved in law enforcement. Holly is hesitant, in part because she knows that she is not a bodyguard. Additionally, she knows that no one can keep someone safe if another person is determined enough to kill them. The fact that she considers this illustrates her compassion because she knows she would feel guilty should Kate be killed on her watch even though...
