Summary

In “Trig,” Trig goes to a Straight Circle where recovering addicts meet. He tells a man named Big Book Mike that he is shaken up because a man has recently been killed in prison. Later on, Trig goes to the library where he reads an article stating that the dead man may have been innocent. Trig considers the atrocities he is about to undertake.

In Chapter 1, Lewis Warwick shows Detective Izzy Jaynes an email he received from someone claiming to be Bill Watson stating that innocent people should be killed in exchange for an innocent death so that the guilty must continue to suffer.
