Part One, Chapter 5 Summary

Cam goes to church to say a rosary in order to receive forgiveness for kissing Mia. However, halfway through the rosary, Cam realizes that he does not regret what he has done and that he would do it again if given the opportunity. The same day, Mia checks into the Wheelock Inn to avoid having to stay overnight at Allie's again. Mia cannot stop thinking about Cam. Mia takes out a piece of stationary and writes a short note to him. Mia then burns the note, knowing she could never really send it.
