Chapter 15: A Man Like Winston Montgomery Summary

The incident with Basil stops Jackie Lee from interfering in Grace's social life once and for all. She quickly becomes a confirmed loner, concentrating on school work and spending her weekends with Winston and her mother. Winston continues Grace's sailing lessons and when the summer arrives, he takes them to the villa he and Jackie Lee discovered on their honeymoon. They spend their time shopping in exotic places and the summer flies by. Winston asks Grace what she has in mind for the future and agrees with her idea to seek early graduation and attend a nearby junior college.
