Chapter 13: Happy Forever Summary

Jackie Lee quits working right after she becomes engaged. She is now fully involved with selecting fonts for stationary and invitations, decorations, caterers and florists and has little time for anything else, including Grace. She spends more time with Winston. A week before the wedding, they move into Winston's estate, although Jackie Lee maintains propriety by sleeping in a guest room until the wedding. Grace slowly becomes familiar with the many staff members at the estate, and is relieved of all household chores. She feels like a Princess. Winston keeps their honeymoon destination a surprise and worries about the time that Grace will have to spend alone. He even suggests she join them, which she declines. The wedding is everything Jackie Lee ever wanted. Phoebe tries to bait Grace but is not successful and Grace puts things into perspective...
