Chapter 9: Mommy and Mrs.Greenstein Summary

Grace goes to school intending to ignore Phoebe, but when Ashley approaches her to "see if she is alright after her mother's arrest for theft," Grace loses her composure. She shouts, Ashley baits further, and Grace snaps, grabbing her by her hair, and dragging her to the floor. Her screams bring students and teachers alike. When Grace gets home, she tells her mother everything. Then Grace learns that Mrs. Dorahush passed away the previous night.
