Summary

In Chapter 26, Lena looks out the window of the car and sees Campbell arguing with Peanut. Lena is confused about why Campbell would be yelling at Peanut, so she gets out of the car to figure it out. Lena walks to the back of the car and asks Campbell what is wrong. Campbell points to the trunk and Lena sees a bunch of hardware supplies inside. Lena yells at Peanut and tells him he better not have robbed Campbell’s store. Black gets out of the car and is shocked at what he sees because he was not with them when they robbed the store. Peanut says everyone in town was stealing and he has no intention of giving anything back to Campbell. Lena and Campbell both yell at him, but he says he is leaving.
