Chapters 6-15 Summary

In Chapter 6, Dru helps Emerson dress for her dinner with Michael.

In Chapter 7, when Emerson arrives at the restaurant, Michael clearly enjoys the sight of her dressed up. They talk and Michael reveals that he plans to rent a loft in the same building where Emerson lives with Thomas and Dru. Michael then encourages Emerson to ask him questions, but again answers most of her questions with claims that it is too complicated to explain. Emerson then tells him about her mental breakdown and her stay in the mental hospital. Michael assures Emerson she is not crazy and this gives her some relief.
