Section 12: Chapters 36-39 Summary

In Chapter 36, Cam is upset that Scab hurt Morgan and Pip, but he cannot do anything about it. When Morgan wonders why no one else notices Cam is getting smaller, Pip explains that Massif bespelled Cam so humans would not see the difference, and Morgan realizes she can see through the spell because she is psychic. Pip explains that Massif will also cast a spell when Cam leaves so humans will forget he ever existed; Pip was sent to take Cam's place so this is why Morgan is dreaming of Pip since he is meant to be her replacement boyfriend. Pip is unsure if the spell will work on Morgan or if she will remember him if their plan goes right.
