Lauren Danner

Lauren Danner is a concert pianist who, due to an illness on her father's part, is desperate to find a good paying job. Lauren's father has arranged for her to have an interview with Philip Whitworth, a distant relative of his, in hopes of landing a job with his firm. Whitworth agrees to see Lauren, but has no intention of giving her a job until a thought occurs to him. Whitworth is struggling to win bids over another company owned by his stepson.
