Summary

In Chapter 30, Ana dreams about drowning, which is unusual for her. She dreams she is with Dev as HP caves in. She wakes from the dream before dawn and goes for a swim, encountering Socrates with some other dolphins. Inside, she finds Jupiter has already been baking. Ana signs that “Mary Berry would be proud” and Jupiter responds with “I love you” (169) Nelinha says she is glad Ana did not get zapped by some underwater defenses. Ana feels stupid she did not consider that. Ophelia says Luca is already onboard the Nautilus. Ana, Nelinha, and Ester follow Ophelia who reveals that the Nautilus was not destroyed by a volcano as Verne reported. Ester believes Ana will be alright but says she should talk to the Nautilus before boarding. Ophelia and Luca have figured out how to manually open a heavy vault door but...
