East Hampton

East Hampton is the city where the novel is located. Charlie describes it as divided between the rich like Salt and the poor like herself and Posey. It is filled with shadow magic and often seen as a rich area of power. However, there is extreme disparity between those with it and those without. Charlie spends most of her time in the poorer part of the city except for her cons with Rand in the rich homes.

Rapture

Rapture is the name of Odette’s bar where Charlie works as a bartender. At the beginning of the novel, it is a job she hopes to keep to try and restart her and Posey’s life.
