Kvothe

Kvothe is a legendary figure. In the present day, he goes by the name of Kote and works as an innkeeper of the Waystone Inn. He has green eyes and vibrant red hair. He is a powerful storyteller and talented musician. He agrees to tell the Chronicler and Bast the story of his life over three days. The story he tells during The Wise Man’s Fear is the second day of his account.

Kvothe’s parents were members of an Edema Ruh troupe, whom the Chandrian murdered during his youth. During the events of Kvothe’s chronicle, Kvothe is 16 years old. He attends the University. He has earned the rank of Re’lar due to his magical talent and ability to summon the name of the wind.
