Part 7, Chapter 37 Summary

They depart on horseback the next day knowing there will be a search soon. They make it past the prison and rest the horses. Redcoats appear. Murtagh goes to meet the Redcoats and pretends to be lost. Not believing him, the Redcoats come closer and Jamie shoots one. The other two flea and Claire catches one and Murtagh the other.

They board a boat for the next part of their journey and Jamie is seasick the whole way. Claire and Murtagh think he will die because he throws up so much that his ribs ache and blood is coming out with the vomit. Murtagh asks Claire if she has any opiate left, to which she says yes. They make Jamie drink it, so he can finish the journey. They finally arrive at the Abbey of Ste. Anne de Beaupry of France...
