Part Three, Chapter 22-23 Summary

Allie allowed Cam to come back to their bed last night, but when Cam wakes, he finds her gone. There was once a time when Allie would not go to the backyard without leaving a note for Cam. Cam misses that Allie. In court, both psychiatrists are called to the stand and they seem to cancel each other out. Graham rests his case. However, it is Friday so closing arguments are put off until Monday. On Sunday, Graham calls Jamie and tells him not to drive himself to the courthouse in case the jury does not rule in their favor. Graham gives his closing argument first, emphasizing all the testimony that spoke of Jamie's deep love for Maggie and Maggie's own statements in regards to her desire to die.
