Part Three, Chapter 19 Summary

When the defense begins their case, the first thing Graham does is make a motion to dismiss the case. The motion is denied. Before Graham can continue, however, the judge adjourns the case for the day, because his daughter has broken her leg. At home, Cam brings Allie dozens of flowers from another flower shop, hoping to show her how sorry he is and how much he still loves her. Cam has resigned himself to remaining with Allie and has stopped thinking so much about Mia. However, Allie is not so ready to forget the hurt. Allie refuses to talk to Cam most of the time, but when she does speak to him, she wants to know details about the affair. Cam is honest with her most of the time.
